Islands of Singapore

How many know that Pulau Ujong, or “Island at the End” in Malay is Singapore’s alternative name?

Traversing across Singapore’s waters, this program takes you on a journey beyond the Lion City, to islands that lie beyond its shores to see Singapore, the archipelago. As quickly as Singapore’s urban skyline develops, so too does its shoreline. Through mergers and land reclamation, 70 islands have become 50. In a time where change is the only constant, we explore how these islands bear witness to the nation’s past, present and future.
