I am Lion

Are lions conscious? Consciousness is hard to define, but it can be observed.

In 2012 an elite group of neuroscientists first publicly acknowledged consciousness in animals as part of the Cambridge Declaration on Consciousness forcing us to rethink the way we perceive non-human animals.

I am Lion follows the story of a young lioness, rescued from captivity at 10 days old, as she navigates her way from hapless victim to rightful inheritor of everything that personifies a true Kalahari lion. Her story shows us that lions can learn, remember and adapt at a more sophisticated level than mere conditioning or instinct.
