“Chofo” is a prestigious restaurant critic from the Mexican press, who decides to invite his friends to try different Mexican cuisine proposals through a unique challenge: eating without cutlery. “Chofo” wants to bring the culinary experience to all possible senses.
Each chapter features a different guest to observe with fresh eyes new dishes and different versions of traditional recipes as well as Mexican interpretations of international cuisine, through a fun trip aboard a red convertible MG 1954 car.
“Chofo” does not limit himself to trying and reviewing prestigious Mexican street food dishes, but also accesses the most prestigious restaurants in a Mexican gastronomic capital – Guadalajara, where famous chefs reveal the secrets of their recipes and talk about their life stories. Of course, all without cutlery.
