Worldwide, 7 billion Emoji’s are send to each other on a daily basis. Although the colourful icons are no longer reminiscent of our daily communication, little is known about the Emoji Committee of Unicode, the Commission – consisting of delegates from major tech companies such as Apple, Google, Facebook and Microsoft – who in California determines which Emoji’s are in our keyboard or not. We managed to get a foot in the door. How does the future of our communications look like?
