Latitudes of Change follows an international crew on a maritime expedition of more than 12,000 km aboard the sailboat Atlas.
Brought together by a shared mission, the crew sails to the threatened ecosystems of the Arctic seas to collect scientific data on marine life, with a focus on whales, plankton and microplastics. Combining citizen science, exploration and personal challenge, the film documents both the research and the human experience of those carrying it out. Shot on location in the Arctic, it delivers visually spectacular cinematography of the polar seas, their wildlife and the voyage itself.
