Travelling Talkies

Indians love movies, but only city dwellers have theatres nearby. People in extreme locations must wait for a visit from a travelling cinema.

Trucks loaded with tents, projectors and film reels criss cross the countryside, periodically giving villagers a chance to catch a show. Among them is 32 year old Anup Jagdale. We follow Anup’s struggle to keep an age-old tradition of travelling cinema alive.
